Hello! I'm Mary (ME) Odom and this site shows some of my artwork. I am very eclectic as an artist and passionate about teaching creativity to anyone wishing to learn. The look and feel of the visual arts has changed with the new century.
Technology has become a common tool that is included with drawing, painting, and three diminsional artforms. I've combined my love of painting and technology. I've worked in watercolors, acrylics, mix media and digital. I currently teach at a public elementary school and work as an artist at WHAM (wham-art.ort) .... The world is a fasinating adventure!
Traditional artworks I've done in Acrylics and Watercolors.
Works in digital are done with Photoshop or GIMP, videos, inDesign, Illustrator, Snagit, iMovie or anything else I can get hold of.
I love to mix artwork up with digital and traditional materials. Creating video canvases, collages, watercolors and ink, sculptures and what ever hits my fancy.
I share my techniques formally and informally. Currently a visual arts teacher for the Dysart School District, I present workshops for WHAM Art Association, Arizona Art Educators Association, individual tutorials from Kindergarden to senior adults.
